She worked at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital for seven years and began to attend Valley Stream Baptist Church during that time (1983).  In 1989, she joined St. Mary’s Hospital for children and provided two years short of two decades of service to St. Mary’s hospital before retiring in 2007.

While attending the church from 1983, she has contributed greatly to its present development. She has been a board member for several years while acting in the capacity of Trustee. She has been a faithful Member throughout her time, even through her sickness. She has led a truly dedicated and exemplary service to the work of the lord that will never be forgotten.
