NEW YORK — A heartbroken New York City man is desperately searching for his opera-singing parrot.
Captain, a 25-year-old green and yellow Amazon parrot, flew off Allen Kirson's shoulder as they went biking in Brooklyn on the day after Thanksgiving.
The New York Post says the talented bird who "loves to sing opera" has performed at senior citizen homes and children's hospitals.
Kirson says Captain also dances, and has a big vocabulary.
