BOLTON -- The head of the National Fuel Gas Company will lead the board of the Business Council of New York State.
David Smith is expected to be elected by the board of directors Thursday morning at the council's annual conference. There is still no decision about who will succeed Heather Briccetti as its acting president.
Smith succeeds Kevin Burke, the CEO of Con Edison.
