Elmont Chamber of Commerce hosts 2nd Annual Economic Development Summit

 DSC0051The Elmont Chamber of Commerce will host its Second Annual Elmont Summit on Wednesday May 2 at 7 p.m. at the Elmont Memorial Library, on 700 Hempstead Turnpike.

Expected panelists include Nassau County Legislator Carrié Solages (D-Elmont), Floral Park Mayor Thomas Tweedy, Vision Long Island executive director Eric Alexander and David Sabatino of Envision Valley Stream.

The discussion is moderated by Elmont’s Chamber of Commerce Vice-president Muzzio Tallini.  The discussion is open to the public.  Topics will include a renewed look at economic development, and zoning in Elmont.  The panel of local elected officials, civic members and smart growth downtown advocates will discuss a myriad of economic development issues facing Elmont.
