Johnson and Johnson Skulduggery - Continues Unabated

Shell GameWith just one week to go before the Democratic primary for New York State Assembly, the dirty tricks operation seems to be in full swing.  Elmont.org, in an exclusive, can report on some extraordinary moves by the campaign of embattled Assembly candidate Mimi Pierre Johnson and State Senator Johnson’s staff. The objective, according to insiders, is to deny the people of the Elmont community a free and fair election Primary day.  Johnson is squaring off against Elmont East End Civic Leader Patrick Nicolosi.

The dirty tricks campaign, being employed by the Johnson and Johnson campaign, has local observers now calling for an investigation by State Board Elections and local authorities as well as the New York State Senate office of Secretary of the Senate.

Senator Johnson Hit With More Broken Promises on Grant Funding

Taxpayer headacheFunding for Late Buses for Catholic Schools Another Lie

Taxpayers are left paying the bill as empty promises from State Senator Craig Johnson continue to victimize the Floral Park, Elmont, Franklin Square, Stewart Manor and New Hyde Park communities.  Local school districts continue to scramble to recover from promised but never delivered grant funds that were announced by the scandal tainted Senator but never came.

The empty promises of the Senator have resulted in districts having to use funds to plug holes that the Senator has created.  The result of Johnson’s failed promises according to school district sources in multiple communities has, “been frustrating and maddening. Here’s a guy who promises but never delivers. We never had these kind of problems until he showed up.”

Assembly Debate Squashed by Johnson and Johnson Team

Taxpayer financed stafferTaxpayer Paid Senate Staffer Speaks for Candidate
Community leaders looking to set up a candidates forum where Democrat candidates running for the seat of popular State Assemblyman Tom Alfano, who is retiring at the end of the year, announced that the debate sponsored by the League of Women Voters and the Elmont Community Coalition Council has been cancelled.  The forum was cancelled because Assembly candidate Mimi Pierre-Johnson refused to debate her opponent Patrick Nicolosi. In contrast to the “No” of Mimi Pierre Johnson, Assembly candidate Patrick Nicolosi answered “Yes” and then added, “tell me when and where!”

Under Pressure, Senator Johnson Legal Team Desperately Tries to muzzle 7th Senatorial District Voices

If the Senator Craig Johnson and Assembly candidate Mimi Pierre Johnson legal court challenge to Elmont resident and Assembly candidate Patrick Nicolosi didn’t infuriate the community enough, it turns out that Senator Johnson’s lawyers are up to their old tricks again. The latest Johnson legal move continues to tarnish the Democratic Party label locally where volunteers have worked steadily over the years to impact country-wide races.  Local party activists are actively “jumping ship” and working on other Democrat campaigns as Johnson has proven to be an “embarrassment.”

Senator Johnson Campaign in Tailspin as “Twitter Post” on Adult Porn Movies Titles Shocks Community

Still reeling over evidence handed over to the District Attorney’s Office, and a referral to the New York State Board of Elections of fraud, forgery and conspiracy perpetrated by the campaign of State Senator Craig Johnson, new priorities of the Senator’s work in Albany can be unveiled to the greater Elmont, Floral Park and Franklin Square communities.

Elmont.org, in another local exclusive story, can now inform readers that the scandal plagued Senator who is supposed to use his time in Albany to fight for the community in the state budget battle, instead used social networking device “Twitter” to post his “worst porn movie title” on a day where the Senate was voting on bills.

Twitter, the social networking tool used by young people and adults, was the grand focus of the Senator during budget negotiations. And, while State Legislators were battling for the return of the STAR Rebate checks that were eliminated by Senator Johnson, the Senator was busy tweeting away his time trying to “one up” his twitter pals on  “porn movie titles.”

Longtime community observers called the twitter posts “an appalling and shocking revelation that was another nail in the coffin of the Senator’s re-election bid.”  One school aid leader remarked, “he should do the honorable thing and resign. This is obviously way over his head.”

The story on the Senator’s twitter post was revealed by the New York Post weeks ago. Senator Johnson’s office acknowledged the post. However, the Senator would not respond to the article and hid while his spokesperson tried to explain that it was all in fun.

Unfortunately, this incident engulfing the Senator is yet another Albany incident of sleaze that taxpayers have had to put up with.  Just a few months ago, local residents traveled to Albany to meet with the Senator from our local schools and taxpayer groups to be told that the Senator was too busy to meet with them.

Revitalization Obstacles

Why does Tess Mittman, who owns the former Argo Movie Theater, believe that Elmont should be contented with a 99 Cent Store as their marquee "supermarket"?
