Time to hang up! An increasing number of school districts are banning cell phones from school grounds. Teachers claim that phones can be a huge distraction in an educational setting, especially when teens text each other during class. Most schools, however, allow cell phone possession and only ban use during school hours.

No brainer - this has to be a distraction in class, and some parents are part of the problem. They call and text their children regardless of the time of day.
