The New York City Sergeants Benevolent Association yesterday endorsed Somers Town Supervisor Mary Beth Murphy for the state Senate in her primary battle against Assemblyman Greg Ball, R-Patterson, Putnam County.
The union said it has 11,000 members and is the fifth largest police union in the country.
