Amphetamine Abuse Increases During College Finals

Seven percent of full-time college students illegally use Adderall to increase their concentration while studying – and Adderall abuse is becoming increasingly common among teens too. Adderall, a prescription stimulant, is used to treat attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and can be habit-forming. Using or selling Adderall without a prescription is a felony, and the side effects can include insomnia, headache, depression, rapid heartbeat, seizures, and even heart attacks.
