Assembly Debate Squashed by Johnson and Johnson Team

Taxpayer financed stafferTaxpayer Paid Senate Staffer Speaks for Candidate
Community leaders looking to set up a candidates forum where Democrat candidates running for the seat of popular State Assemblyman Tom Alfano, who is retiring at the end of the year, announced that the debate sponsored by the League of Women Voters and the Elmont Community Coalition Council has been cancelled.  The forum was cancelled because Assembly candidate Mimi Pierre-Johnson refused to debate her opponent Patrick Nicolosi. In contrast to the “No” of Mimi Pierre Johnson, Assembly candidate Patrick Nicolosi answered “Yes” and then added, “tell me when and where!”

Under Pressure, Senator Johnson Legal Team Desperately Tries to muzzle 7th Senatorial District Voices

If the Senator Craig Johnson and Assembly candidate Mimi Pierre Johnson legal court challenge to Elmont resident and Assembly candidate Patrick Nicolosi didn’t infuriate the community enough, it turns out that Senator Johnson’s lawyers are up to their old tricks again. The latest Johnson legal move continues to tarnish the Democratic Party label locally where volunteers have worked steadily over the years to impact country-wide races.  Local party activists are actively “jumping ship” and working on other Democrat campaigns as Johnson has proven to be an “embarrassment.”

This is Sparta! Elmont Spartans On the Move!

When You think about the Fall, there is one thing that comes to the minds of many young people throughout Elmont, that is football season. For many of our aspiring gridiron greats, practices have started in earnest and the hot sun blazing during the day is toughening them up for the contests that are right around the corner.

Elmont.org wanted to profile 4 of Elmont Memorial High School’s football greats and look beneath the surface of these young men. Our four spotlights are on Qusarn Caldwell, Kyle Johnson, Michael Braun and Brandon Brown. This week, we look at Caldwell and Johnson.

Each of these young men have impressed the greater Elmont community on and off the athletic field. Now, we get to meet them and see what makes them tick as individuals, and what motivates them on the field.

Over, Gino’s Pizzeria famous Buffalo Chicken and Sicilian Slices on a hot Friday night, this is what they had to say about their upcoming season and school.

How About the Truth Senator Johnson? For Once.

Whitestone BridgeOver the past week, Elmont.org has chronicled the story of Senator Craig Johnson and Assembly candidate Mimi Pierre Johnson’s petition fraud scandal foisted upon the residents of the Elmont community. From the hired gun lawyers of Senator Johnson’s law firm who terrorized Elmont resident Patrick Nicolosi’s, to forged names on the Johnson and Johnson petitions, the story does not end.

Yesterday, delivered into resident email boxes was a letter from Senator Johnson announcing his support for a bill (S.6823B) that fights public corruption. The letter boasts of the Senator’s anger towards the betrayal of public trust in elected officials. Recent stories of the Senator Johnson’s fraud, forgery and betrayal of public trust on his petitions for public office seem like a very good start for the Attorney General to investigate.
