ECSD Gets Grant!

In August the Elmont Coalition for Sustainable Development was pleased to receive a letter from the Long Island Community Foundation letting us know we were approved for the $15,000 grant we applied for. The purpose of this grant is for communications and outreach to the community as we move forward in the implementation of our vision plan.

The Coalition has already sent out an RFP (request for proposal) looking for a firm that will be able to help develop a website, as well as, guide us in the best ways to keep the community engaged and updated on economic development in Elmont.

So, we would like to take this opportunity to thank the Long Island Community Foundation!
