I know the admins won't let this through, but maybe they will read it at least. Fact is that the back stretch of Belmont is in Floral Park. Fact is that the school systems of Elmont and Floral Park are part of the same Sewanhaka district. Fact is that no one has shown how putting a 600 room hotel on what amounts to a swamp when it rains won't hurt the taxed sewer system. Fact is that commercial traffic cuts through Floral Park on Plainfield Ave (they can't go on CIP) which means thats what the casino buses will use. Fact is that taxes will go up because of the increased public utility usage and public employee need (police, fire, crossing guard, etc). Whoever wrote this should check facts. All I hear is that "jobs" buzzword. Where are the facts that it will bring jobs for Elmont. Won't people from outside the communities come and get the jobs and abuse the town's resources instead?
