Anyone who thinks that our taxes won't go up to pay to support this is likely mistaken. Look at the statistics of towns that have added casinos. Taxes up, home values down. Schools suffer. Infrastructure costs, police costs, etc. I can't wait to see all of the traffic from the multitude of casino buses that will congest roads like Hempstead and Plainfield. The visitors will spend all their money in the hotel shops and restaurants, and that won't help local businesses. Atlantic City is still looking for the economic returns promised from their casinos. The jobs brought to their casinos did nothing to enhance their community. No, we do NOT all support this.
