Ms. Johnson is well known at the Library for being there to cover for her husband. For the taxes we pay in Elmont to hear that this is going on is wrong. Mr. Nicolosi is right. I find it very wrong as well that Mr. Phillips is attacked for reporting the news. How about looking at the issue. YOUR TAX DOLLARS are being ROBBED by a person brought up on charges. YOUR TAX DOLLARS are being stolen by a trustee who is influencing the process. In the real world on Wall Street what Johnson did is INSIDER TRADING and they would be taken out in handcuffs. In corporations, legal counsel would dismiss the employee. Only in local government can this kind of craziness go on.
The people who have commented with attacks at the writer here should look yourself in the mirror. What Johnson has done is wrong. She should resign now.
And if the rumors at Dutch Broadway School are true about the OTHER Trustee and her own children working at the library are true. she should resign as well in DISGRACE.
