Ragona Dead at 50 from Heart Attack

Elmont School Board member, Frank Ragona, died today after suffering an apparent heart attack at his job.  He leaves behind a wife and two children.

I am sorry to hear of Frank's passing. I knew him through LIBS, and was always glad to be under his care during my donations.He could install needles painlessly, was caring and attentive during my time there, and so entertaining! His love for and pride in his family was clear, and my heart goes out to them. I will miss his smile and his kindness. The world is poorer through this loss, but I and many others are richer for having him touch our lives.

Frank was a great friend whom I met through donating platelets. He was probably the kindest person one could know. He was always proudly talking about his wife and children. Never a mean word for anyone. I will miss you buddy!
