Elmont Memorial Congratulates September and October Students of the Month

The 2010/2011 school year is up and running and there already are numerous students who have made a strong and positive impression from the first days of school in September and October. These students try their hardest and often exceed their teachers’ expectations. It is with great pleasure that Elmont Memorial announces its September and October Students of the Month.

September's Awardees are Dale Jameson, Business; Seaton Cole, Social Studies; Feyikemi Folarin, The Hurricanes Team; Sofia Brisson, Child Psychology & Development; Eric McKenzie, World Languages; Kamada Smith, English; Ashli Hudson, The Hurricanes Team; Obiajulum Utti, Science; Joseph R. Smith, Music; Travis Robinson-Morgan, The Bears Team; Shaneska Pierre, Language Enrichment; Antonique Edwards, Health; Aston Brown, Physical Education; Laurie Lamour, Art Alex Calixte, English; Lerone Clark, The Bulldogs Team; Biruh Larman, The Lions Team; Trevor Desire, The Tigers Team; Maya Holder, The Tigers Team

octstudentsOctober's Awardees are Soraya Fredique, Family & Consumer Science; Rawls Paulicap, English; Angel Torres, World Language; Chanei Patterson, Business; Gerald Asante, The Hurricanes Team; Chanael Decembre, The Hurricans Team; Casey Marescot, The Bears Team; Jasmine Mattar, Health; Saudia Baksh, The Bulldogs Team; Ashley Simon, The Wolverines Team; Heavan Benson, Language Enrichment; Mia Florentino, Art; Keaton Ramjit, Social Studies.

Principal John Capozzi presented the Students of the Month with certificates of achievement as well as a coupon for a free dessert at Applebee’s.  Mr. Capozzi congratulated the students for hard work and dedication to their studies.

Elmont Online and all Elmont staff and faculty are proud of these students’ achievements and look forward to more success during the rest of the school year.
